A couple weeks ago I came across theardorous, an online female artist collective curated by Petra Collins. Above are two beautiful collages done by Emma Dajska, who also happens to be the illustrator for Rookie Mag.

I really loved these two and there is for sure something to be said on how seeing hands and arms pasted on top of stark mountainous terrain can evoke that familiar feeling of placing assertive hands on one's hips or insecurely hugging oneself.

That may or may not have been a run-on sentence.

April showers = May flowers

The boyfriend and I celebrated our one year mark this weekend since the real date falls during the work week. I had listed this Timo Weiland dress on my Amazon wishlist for fun a couple months back, only to find it wrapped in a box and handed to me this weekend. It sure is nice when your significant other generously decides to humor your frivolous wardrobe dreams.

Bag Lady

 

The nearest Zara to me is closed for some serious renovation (it has been four months already!) so I decided to reacquaint myself with them via their online store.

I am actually on a search for a bag that will work for school, work and wherever summer takes me travel-wise. After careful consideration and long moments of fixed online stares, I am beginning to lean towards the second gray mini duffel and the last red messenger. I do love the first bag for it's unique bottom metal frame as well as the third bag for it's uncanny resemblance to the Alexander Wang Marion bag (minus the metal corners). 

Decisions, decisions.
